Reporting to Mr. MacLean, Canada and Global, as well in collaboration with Mr. MacLean designated Chief Project Geologist supervising in that Country, as Assistant Project Geologist you will be a technical expert working as part of a dynamic TIER 1 PORPHYRY EXPLORATION team of geoscientists working globally and focused primarily on regional and international porphyry exploration in Canada and Australia.

 

Responsibilities

​

  • Develop existing local and regional targets and suspected deposit-scale geological targets into models (lithology, structure, alteration, and mineralization);

  • Detail suspect interpretation, analysis, and continuous improvement in gaining growing understanding in the controls on Cu-Mo-Au porphyryr mineralizations at the existing deposits, and to refine and develop potential new exploration extensional targets;

  • Analyze and interpret the mineral potential of holdings of exploration properties to define new economic opportunities for local people residing around our holdings, both brownfields and greenfields.

  • Collection, compilation, data management, and interpretation of geological information from exploration programs including diamond drilling, mapping, geophysics, and surface sampling, etc.;

  • Provide technical leadership for regional exploration teams on the move including review, development and maintenance of best practice technical exploration systems and protocols;

  • Contribute to developing exploration work programs and to improved strategic exploration planning;

  • Collaboration with Mr. MacLean, Head Director global ensuring NI 43-101 compliant technical professional excellence for professional development purposes and proactive mentorship of all staff.

Qualifications

​

  • You have a recognized Degree in Geology from a leading institution of The Earth Sciences; Post-graduate degrees,Doctorates, (PhD's) are assets.

  • Remember a Minimum of 5 years’ experience in porphyry mineral exploration after graduation is required for (QP) status under securities Regulations. (Please do not let this stop you from applying as you may possibily earn that experience working with our advanced team).  

  • Solid knowledge of gold deposit models.

  • Experience developing geological models at both the deposit- and greenstone-belt scales.

  • Regional-scale targeting and exploration experience in greenstone belts.

  • An excellent understanding of geological settings, deposit models, and ore-forming processes as it pertains to the latest concepts of gold deposit environments.

  • An ability to think across-scales and to integrate diverse, large datasets.

  • A demonstrated commitment to safety, environment, and community.

  • A track record of talent development with strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Shown to be self-motivated and possesses leadership abilities.

  • Proficient with, GIS, and SQL databases.

DIESEL MECHANIC, DIESEL TECH. 

 

  • Perform duties with little or no supervision and in a timely and efficient manner - Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, and jacks and hoists.

  • Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition.

  • Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery. - Adjust and replace brake, tighten bolts and screws, and reassemble equipment.

  • Raise trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists. - Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers, motor analyzers, chassis charts, and pressure gauges.

  • Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices. - Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications.

  • Specialize in repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmissions and differentials, to include replacing complete assemblies, turbochargers, fuel system components etc.

  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor Qualifications - 5+ years practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance is an asset -

  • Develop existing and new local and regional GOLD ONE DRILLING RIG OVERSIGHT SPECIALIST targets that contract service suspected deposit-scale geological targets into models (lithology, structure, alteration, and mineralization);

  • Detail suspect interpretation, analysis, and continuous improvement in gaining growing understanding in the controls on Cu-Mo-Au porphyry mineralization at the existing deposits, and to refine and develop potential new exploration drilling extensional targets; Analyze and interpret the mineral potential of holdings of exploration properties to define new economic opportunities for local people residing around our holdings, both brownfields and greenfield through their training and learning with existing and new targets that contract service .

Qualifications

​

  • You have a recognized ability or above average desire to understand geology and geological structures. Your interest in Geology from a discovery role motivates you to have a very strong desire to know exactly what lies beneath the surface of solid bedrock outcrops.
